Summary: By using DNS Intelligence, you agree to use the service responsibly for legitimate purposes only. We provide the tool "as is" without warranties. Your privacy is protected - we don't track you or sell your data.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using DNS Intelligence (the "Service"), available at lookup.echovalue.dev, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DNS Intelligence provides:

  • DNS record lookups (A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT, NS, and other record types)
  • Email security analysis (SPF, DMARC, DKIM)
  • SSL/TLS certificate inspection
  • DNS propagation checking
  • Reverse DNS lookups
  • Domain intelligence and enrichment data
  • API access for programmatic queries

The Service is provided for informational and analytical purposes.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any malicious, harmful, or illegal activity
  • Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt the Service (e.g., denial of service attacks)
  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or rate limits
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service beyond reasonable API usage
  • Impersonate others or provide false information
  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights

4. Privacy and Data Collection

4.1 What We Collect

We prioritize your privacy. The Service collects minimal data:

  • Search History: Stored locally in your browser only (localStorage). Never sent to our servers.
  • Query Data: Domain names submitted for lookup are processed to return results but are not permanently stored or linked to your identity.
  • Bot Protection: Cloudflare Turnstile is used for anti-bot verification and may collect minimal data as per Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

4.2 What We Don't Do

  • We do not use cookies for tracking
  • We do not use analytics or advertising trackers
  • We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties
  • We do not create user profiles or track your browsing behavior

4.3 API Users

API usage may be logged for billing, rate limiting, and abuse prevention. API keys and usage data are handled securely and not shared with third parties.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of DNS data
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Non-infringement of third-party rights

DNS data is sourced from public DNS infrastructure and third-party providers. We do not guarantee its accuracy or timeliness. Always verify critical information through official channels.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DNS Intelligence and its operators, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any:

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from reliance on information provided by the Service
  • Service interruptions, errors, or security breaches

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Cloudflare Turnstile, DNS resolvers). We are not responsible for:

  • The availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services
  • Third-party terms of service or privacy policies
  • Any damages or losses caused by third-party services

8. API Usage and Rate Limits

If you use the Service via our API:

  • You must comply with published rate limits and usage quotas
  • You are responsible for securing your API keys
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate API access for violations
  • Pricing and billing terms are governed by the platform you access the API through (Apify, RapidAPI, etc.)

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for:

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
